Following our article in last month’s newsletter on the importance of a sustainable flow of data and information in the electrical wholesaling industry, we’re pleased to share that the EUEW – CECAPI Joint Work Group on this topic will hold its kick-off meeting in Brussels on 14th of May 2025.

The meeting will take place at the in the offices of Orgalim - Europe’s Technology Industries – Brussels and will bring together a group of committed volunteers representing both National Federations and members of the EUEW Advisory Council.
Confirmed volunteers from the EUEW side include:
Henk Oude Brunink, EUEW President
Arsenii Shaliapin, IDEE
Anna Konopasek, FEGIME
Tanguy Griffon, SONEPAR
Elena Bruns, IMELCO
Gianluca Gonella, REXEL
Paul Borghouts, FEDET
Jennis Wiederholm, SEG
Kim Sihassen, COEDIS
Anselm Martin Hoffmeister, VEG
Ole Gunnar Honningsoy, EFO
Koen Lauryssen, EUEW Secretary General
The goal of this working group is to collectively explore and define practical approaches to improving sustainable data exchange and digital collaboration across the sector — supporting long-term sustainability and efficiency in the supply chain for this matter.
While we are encouraged by the interest received so far, we would like to remind all EUEW National Federations and Advisory Council members that it is not too late to join. If your organisation has not yet responded, we warmly encourage you to consider participating in this important initiative.
Your expertise, insights, and national perspective are highly valuable to shaping this discussion. We want to ensure all voices are heard and all stakeholders are represented in what promises to be a meaningful and impactful process.
If you wish to join the working group or would like more information, please contact: Koen Lauryssen – k.lauryssen@euew.org
