What a remarkable and successful edition it was, right in the heart of Helsinki.

As we briefly look back on this year’s EUEW Business Convention, we are pleased to share the first snapshots with you. From inspiring keynotes to valuable encounters – the atmosphere was vibrant, and the “Connect to the Future” theme truly came to life on all levels.

We understand that it was sometimes difficult to choose between the various breakout sessions, where topics on Productivity, Sustainability and Intelligence were presented simultaneously. That’s why we’ve created a convenient link to all presentations delivered during the Convention. Whether you’d like to revisit something that left a lasting impression, or view a session you missed due to overlapping choices – everything is clearly listed for you. We’ve requested the presentations from all breakout sessions and will upload them to our website where possible, to keep the overview complete.
Here’s an overview of the topics and speakers by theme:

Positron – EAEE: Timo Raimla and Kaarel Jänes
ABB: Emanuele Tosatti – BIM Tool
ETIM International: Jeroen van der Holst – ETIM is bSDD
Techlink: Joris Van Bossche – TechBim

Now, we turn our focus to the future. What can we still expect in 2025? And we are already beginning to look ahead to 2026. Several important dates remain on this year’s calendar:
22 September 2025 – Board Meeting
25 November 2025 – Advisory Council Meeting
19 December 2025 – Board Meeting & General Meeting
Of course, we will continue to keep you informed through our monthly newsletters, sharing current developments, relevant themes, and joint initiatives within our network.
We are also looking ahead to 2026. That year, we plan to organise a gathering during the Light + Building trade fair in Frankfurt, which will take place from 8 to 13 March 2026. This offers a perfect opportunity to combine our network activities with an international industry event and to reconnect in person.
Because no matter how effective digital communication may be, nothing compares to face-to-face contact. We look forward to seeing you again – and together, we connect to the future.
