In light of the unprecedented challenges we face today with the novel coronavirus, the EUEW Leaders have made a tough but very conscious decision to postpone the 2020 Annual Business Convention to 2021, May 6-7. The destination remains Barcelona and the venue Hilton Diagonal Mar Hotel.
Following this decision, the EDIT Magazine, EUEW’s publication distributed at its general conventions, will also be postponed until 2021. The Editorial team will be in touch with more information and new deadlines in due course.
In the past weeks, the EUEW Presidium has had several discussions amongst member states representatives, our key sponsors and advisors on this issue. We continued to evaluate the crisis and potential alternatives to meet, and where/whether it was still safe to travel because we believed in the power of networking and personal alliances. We believed in still creating joy and helping people enrich their business partnerships, hearts and minds, but things have changed dramatically, and what matters most now is the health and safety of each and every one of you.
We recognize that these are uncertain times, and our thoughts are with you, whether you’re a new member or you’ve been with us for years. This situation is temporary, and we know our industry will be a greater force for good. Like you, we are just waiting for the good days to return soon, and look forward to welcoming you to a stronger than ever Annual Business Convention in 2021.

Special thanks also to the Hilton Diagonal Mar Hotel in Barcelona who has been showing great flexibility! With the hotel we are discussing the transfer of EUEW convention participant’s hotel room reservations to next year.
In case you had also confirmed your participation as a convention delegate already, we would like to propose you to keep your general convention registration and participation valid for next year. In any case, we are happy to inform you that we have been able to freeze this year’s rates for both the hotel as well as for the general convention!
